UMass Memorial Health is hiring a registered nurse for the Clinical Decisions Unit in Massachusetts. The role requires licensure in Massachusetts, current BLS (ACLS preferred for some units) and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external hires. Schedule: 7a-7p, 36 hours per week with every third weekend and holiday.

Formación

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN (ACLS certification current, plus any unit-specific requirements).
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted where allowed.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care.
• Documents patient care per standard procedure.
• Educates patient/family and documents education plans.
• Ensures quality and continuity of care with other providers.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as required.
• Participates in Nursing Governance and quality improvement initiatives.
