Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation in Kirkwood, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts on our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will assess residents, administer medications, supervise staff, and coordinate care with physicians to uphold high clinical standards.

Missouri RN license and BLS/CPR are required. We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Current Missouri RN license in good standing.
BLS/CPR Certification.
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassionate, dependable and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
Assess residents and identify changes in condition promptly.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered.
Supervise LPNs and CNAs and support the care team.
Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and the care team.
Document accurately and timely.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Educate residents and families.
Maintain infection prevention standards.
Participate in QAPI initiatives.
Maintain a safe, resident-focused environment.
Respond to resident needs and emergencies.
