Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation in Kirkwood, MO is seeking dedicated Night Shift LPNs to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will provide compassionate nursing care alongside RNs, CNAs, and physicians, ensuring resident safety and well-being while adhering to state and federal regulations. Experience in post-acute or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

Current Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Current BLS/CPR Certification.
Strong clinical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor residents for changes and report concerns promptly.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
Provide resident and family education as appropriate.
Follow infection control policies and procedures.
Support QAPI initiatives.
Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs.
Maintain a safe, resident-centered environment.
Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
