Banner Ironwood Medical Center is a rural community hospital and our Observation Unit fills a universal need by providing a setting of care for patients not requiring an inpatient admission to receive additional diagnostic workup or therapeutic intervention beyond the scope of a typical Emergency Department visit. This unit also cares for Medical/Surgical & Telemetry inpatients. This provides the best of both worlds with caring for observation and inpatients. We have just opened our new Med Surg/Observation unit which came with exciting upgrades and a state of the art Ortho Gym to help our patients with their ADLs along with post-operative care.
As a Registered Nurse on our OOU , you will be in strong partnership and collaboration with our cohesive staff of healthcare professionals. You will be taking care of patients in a fast-paced environment that requires critical thinking and strong assessment skills. This is a full-time position working three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:0 AM - 7:30 PM. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.
