Medical City Dallas is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, applying established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care.

You will advocate for patients and families, uphold standards of practice in TX, and participate in rotating day shifts with weekend rotations as needed. A BSN within 24 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable; BSN required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact license.
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross.
• At least 1 year acute care hospital experience in last 3 years.
• Ortho experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and families to identify health needs with the care team.
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care per plan.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of health status.
• Create and implement nursing care plans based on diagnoses.
• Deliver care within RN scope and applicable laws.
• Develop teaching plans for health promotion and restoration.
• Educate and support patients and families emotionally.
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation.
• Evaluate responses and outcomes to interventions.
• Apply critical thinking to analyze data and literature for decisions.
