Job summary

In this role you will practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, uphold evidence-based practice, participate in shared governance, and collaborate with nurses, physicians and care teams to ensure safe outcomes for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required: RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact.
• BLS certification required upon hire (BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-Instructor).
• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice to provide individualized care.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care accommodating cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with patients and families using bedside shifts, rounds, and teaching to align goals with the care plan.
• Engage in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and shared governance to advance patient safety and quality.
