Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Labor & Delivery unit at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ is hiring a part-time RN for day shift (7a-7:30p). The role supports vaginal deliveries and C-sections with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork.

The successful candidate will hold an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and have 1+ year L&D experience. A BSN is preferred, and EPIC EMR experience is desired to ensure quality, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications.
• At least 1 year RN L&D experience.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and monitor for clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for timely decisions.
• Educate patients and families for post-visit care and transitions.
• Document accurately in EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
