Job summary
Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessment and participate in an interdisciplinary plan of care for diverse patient populations. The RN will educate patients and families, contribute to clinical education, and help supervise staff and trainees.
The role emphasizes high professional conduct and adherence to nursing standards. Requirements include CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and additional certifications (PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, NVCI) with onboarding
Qualifications
- Six (6) months of Emergency experience as a Registered Nurse, required. May consider (2) years of expereience in an acute care hospital in lieu of emergency experience.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
- ACLS required upon hire; PALS within 180 days of hire; NVCI within 90 days of hire; NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire - REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Develop, implement and evaluate plans of care for patient populations.
- Educate patients, families and caregivers; collaborate with health professionals.
- Supervise staff, students and volunteers as appropriate.
