Job summary
AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia, and to develop individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
You will monitor progress, collaborate with physicians and other providers, manage daily schedules, oversee staff, and educate patients and families about care plans. Florida RN licensure and acute care experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- Must maintain current nursing license and knowledge of unit care requirements.
- Ability to assess real/potential problems and implement solutions.
- Experience leading projects or committees in healthcare settings.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to plan orientation and education for staff.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans from assessments and orders.
- Monitor progress and adapt care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers.
- Manage daily schedules and ensure staffing/equipment availability.
- Provide guidance to staff and supervise nursing assistants.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and stabilize patients.
