Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure required or pending licensure.

• ACLS certification within 180 days for inexperienced RNs.

• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides safe, quality care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assists with organizing patient care activities as assigned.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
• Implements and evaluates the nursing care plan and patient responses.
• Demonstrates leadership in patient care coordination.
• Assists in organizing patient care activities across the team.
