Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician in Portland, OR to maintain and repair residential units, building systems, and common areas.

You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure a safe, clean living environment for residents. The role requires basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge, good customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues within residential units and common areas.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections, repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination.
• Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other building components.
• Replace and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals.
• Maintain and repair household appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and laundry equipment.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance, filter changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, and inventory usage.
