ABM Industries in Portland, OR is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair residential units, building systems and common areas. You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems, with strong troubleshooting and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of residential, apartment, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues within residential units and common areas.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections, repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination.
• Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other building components.
• Replace and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals.
• Maintain and repair household appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and laundry equipment.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance, filter changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, and inventory usage.

Payrate

: $26-30 hourly rate | Weekly pay
