Job summary

Wabash General Hospital seeks a Monitored Care Registered Nurse/Relief Supervisor for the day shift on-site at Mt Carmel, IL. The role combines advanced nursing responsibilities with operational leadership to coordinate patient flow and bed placement.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, hold an Illinois RN license, and have current BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS preferred and to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• The RN must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Illinois RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS and PALS preferred and must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients using the Nursing Process.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor labs, and interpret diagnostic results.
• Coordinate patient transfers, support staffing needs, and respond to emergencies during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards; document accurately in EMR.
