Job summary

ADM is seeking a Day Supervisor in Decatur, IL to oversee refinery operations, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate daily tasks for hourly production employees. You will lead startup shift meetings, enforce environmental and GMP guidelines, and train staff on equipment operation and PPE usage.

The role requires coaching, performance feedback, and maintaining strong morale while partnering with supervisors and HR to address issues and ensure safe practices on all shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly production staff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the refinery facility to ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Lead startup shift meetings and coordinate daily tasks for production staff.
• Provide training on equipment operation and PPE usage; implement JQS and SOPs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coach staff; handle disciplinary matters as needed.
