Job summary

Selectemp is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Eugene, Oregon. This on-site role features a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour. You will support residential communities around Eugene and Springfield with a variety of daily tasks.

Responsibilities include exterior and interior repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and coordination with contractors. A valid driver’s license and reliable attendance are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Residential or property maintenance experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily workload.
• Excellent customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior and structural repairs, including roofing, gutters, windows, and doors.
• Inspect fencing, address pest issues, and locate plumbing leaks.
• Complete attic work such as ducting, ventilation checks, and leak inspections.
• Perform under-unit repairs, including ducting, pest abatement, and dry rot repairs.
• Manage interior maintenance tasks like drywall, doors, cabinetry, and general repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, lighting, and heating components.
• Repair or replace kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
• Support irrigation repairs, basic landscaping, and pool checks.
• Coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Follow all safety procedures and responsibly utilize company resources.
