Job summary

Flexfab is seeking a Production Manager to lead a department across three shifts, accountable for safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost, and people performance. You will coach supervisors, plan labor, and partner with Planning, Materials, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and HR to remove barriers and meet customer commitments.

The role emphasizes daily management, continuous improvement, and the development of a high-performing team in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience preferred, incl. manager level with supervisors.
• Experience leading hourly employees in a union environment preferred.
• Experience in a multi-shift environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead department operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, staffing, and morale expectations.
• Lead, coach, and hold Production Supervisors accountable for consistent execution across all shifts.
• Establish daily management routines; review safety, quality, staffing, schedule attainment, output, downtime, and costs.
• Plan labor and capacity to support demand; assess overtime and bottlenecks.
• Partner with Planning, Materials, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, HR, and others to remove barriers and meet commitments.
• Lead structured problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective action, standard work, and Kaizen.
