Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of hourly and salaried associates to ensure efficient production of products.
• Ensures a safe work environment by participating in the plant safety committee and daily observations.
• Works cross functionally to minimize downtime, meet schedules and manage labor/budget.
• Promotes motivation and maintains high safety, quality, customer service, productivity and efficiency.
• Develops or revises SOPs to ensure GMP compliance.
• Performs duties of Operations Director in their absence.
• Manages weekly scheduling and adjustments.
• Collaborates with QA on recalls and recoveries.
• Ensures safety guidelines are followed.
• Monitors production standards, quality, yield and labor cost.
• Communicates with managers to reach profit margins.
• Estimates costs for processed products and maintains data.
• Develops actionable plans to address processing gaps.
