Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and shift overlap as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned personnel and build a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and performance.
• Review daily production schedule, plan shift priorities, assign work, and ensure materials, supplies, people, and equipment align to meet goals.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop employees on the day shift.
• Monitor production progress and address delays, staffing issues, material concerns, or equipment problems.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, planning, HR, safety, and other departments as needed.
• Conduct introductory and annual performance reviews.
• Participate in interviews for department positions and recommend strong candidates for hire.
• Support training and safety programs with trainers and safety committee members.
