Job summary

Avery Dennison in Kent, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for a day shift from 6AM to 2PM. You will order and verify materials, run orders per product specs, set up machines, and record operating data to track downtime and performance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
Willingness to cross-train and work overtime.
Proficiency with MFG Pro software.
Lift truck operation capability.

Responsibilities

Order and verify materials per order.
Run orders per product specifications.
Perform routine set-up and changeover of machine.
Accurately capture and record operating data, including downtime causes.
Inspect general appearance of finished product.
Label and package finished goods for shipment per customer specifications.
Keep area supplied with necessary packaging materials.
Ensure effective operations.
Participate in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities.
Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
