Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a capable supervisor for the day shift to help ensure department goals, quality standards, productivity, cost controls and safety practices are met. You will assist with staffing, guide hourly employees, and handle required paperwork under supervision.

The role emphasizes leadership, clear communication in English, and the ability to operate safely in a fast-paced food production environment. Candidates with prior supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Some computer skills for record keeping.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate verbally in English with management and hourly employees.
• Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for colleagues.
• Ability to understand and perform tasks to department standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor to ensure that department goals and standards of quality, productivity, cost and safety are met.
• Set up, organize and ensure that the department is staffed and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Instruct, direct and assist hourly employees as needed.
• Assist with and complete paperwork as required and/or requested by supervisor.
