Qualifications

• Must have completed Chicken Grow Out Training Program.
• Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Must possess supervisory and leadership skills.
• Must have good mathematical and organizational skills.
• Must have basic written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be able to move and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fryers and ranch activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist Ranch Manager with setup of brooding, temperatures, and ventilation.
• Maintain ranch facilities and coordinate with maintenance for materials and service calls.
• Enforce sanitation procedures and monitor bird health, reporting abnormalities.
• Respond to emergencies affecting chickens during day or night.
• Help manage production costs including labor, fuel, and supplies.
• Keep accurate records of feed, mortality, production, and energy use.
• Provide training and delegate duties to ranch personnel.
• Adhere to safety and animal welfare guidelines.
