Job summary

Jetty Extracts, an Oakland-based cannabis extraction company, is seeking a meticulous Print Production Operator to manage label printing and packaging workflows. You will handle file prep, proofs, and production documentation, ensuring accuracy across all product lines.

The role requires precise record-keeping, fast problem-solving, and collaboration with Production, Packaging, Compliance, and Distribution. Onsite in Oakland, CA with a 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in print production, label printing, packaging, or related detail-focused environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with print fundamentals (CMYK, sizing, registration).
• Comfort learning BarTender, Retail ID, printer software, and digital production logs.
• Strong proofreading and quality-control skills with attention to small differences in artwork, numbers, dates, and product information.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily print priorities accurately and efficiently.
• Set up and operate roll-to-roll label and large-format printers with approved procedures.
• Load media, configure print settings, align guides, monitor color and quality.
• Coordinate job queues and equipment to maintain productivity and minimize waste.
• Create/update Retail ID product cards and map package UIDs to products.
• Preflight and verify QC data; archive final artwork and print files.
• Maintain print room cleanliness, inventory, and equipment readiness.
