AWT Labels & Packaging in Hauppauge, NY, seeks a Leaflet Production Technician to operate digital presses, scanners, and inspection tools, ensuring high-quality output. The role includes maintaining equipment, managing consumables, and adhering to cGMP standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, with potential overtime to meet production needs. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, 401k match, holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; college a plus.
• Basic to intermediate operations of printing on digital equipment.
• Able to operate equipment-related software and hardware for setups and monitoring.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to perform business math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital presses, printers, scanners, inline inspection equipment and software.
• Print all assigned jobs with high quality across substrates and conditions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and document results.
• Ensure paperwork complies with cGMP standards during production.
• Replace consumables and manage materials per job specifications.
• Maintain production area and organize workspace to prevent cross-contamination.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to meet production goals.
