Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes to machine metal and other materials to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, work holding devices, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, drilling, reaming, and taper cutting operations.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Verify product quality and ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as required during production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
