Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machines including lathe, mill, grinder, drill press, and saw.
• Set up machines, select proper tooling, and adjust feeds and speeds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain tight tolerances and meet quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
