Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Dayshift Production team member on the processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, inspect and operate equipment to meet food safety and quality standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and teamwork.

Benefits include health, vision, and dental coverage after 60 days of employment, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. The role offers a base hourly rate of $18.25 with a schedule Monday–Friday 8am–6:30pm and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: multitask, communicate well, work as part of a team.
• Physical: capable of standing long hours and lifting 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the production line per USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members and promote a positive work environment.
• Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility across different production areas as needed.
