Job summary

Pilgrims is seeking a Dayshift Production Hourly-Live Hanger to join our poultry processing team. This hands-on role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and following USDA and Pilgrims safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will hang live birds, operate equipment, monitor for safety issues, and support teammates to meet production and quality goals. Training and career growth opportunities are available as part of a company committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand 8–11 hours and lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products according to USDA and Pilgrims standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
