Job summary

Pilgrim's in Texas is seeking a Production Hourly Team Member to process poultry products according to USDA regulations and Pilgrim's quality and safety standards. You will perform cutting, trimming, packaging, inspecting, and handling tasks while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and supporting continuous improvement goals.

The role requires standing 8–11 hours, complying with safety and food-safety policies, and working with a team.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
• Perform product handling tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, inspecting, and sorting products.
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment operations and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with sanitation requirements.
• Follow all safety, food safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare policies and procedures.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform duties in various areas of production as needed to support business operations.
• Meet established production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
