Job summary

Belmark Inc in De Pere, Wisconsin is hiring for a production role on 1st shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a hands-on position focused on safety, quality and efficient packaging of labels and cartons.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required and overtime may be necessary.
• Requires almost constant concentration and attention to detail.
• Must be able to use a ruler, calculator and various hand tools.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow written and oral English communication.
• Ability to see colors clearly and distinguish details relevant to production.
• Ability to use hands and feet to operate machines for most of the work time; occasional bending or walking.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 75 pounds occasionally, and potentially up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and nurture a food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Attention to detail and ensure quality attributes are met during the production run.
• Packing pouches per the customer pack configuration.
• Perform quality checks and making machine adjustments as necessary.
• Issue raw materials and final case/pallet count paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
