Job summary
Thrive Foods in Modesto, CA is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) to support production and facility equipment. You will learn to diagnose, repair and maintain machines, packaging systems and related facilities to keep operations running smoothly on the daytime shift.
The role requires a high school diploma (AA in maintenance is a plus) and 4+ years in manufacturing with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and HVAC skills. Safety and sanitation are emphasized in daily duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required with basic math, reading and writing.
- AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus; 4+ years manufacturing experience.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems; ammonia/refrigeration and HVAC knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment safely.
- Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on packaging machines and equipment.
- Read manuals and work orders; diagnose problems and replace parts; carry out preventive maintenance.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with safety regulations.
