Qualifications

• Minimum (Required) High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred (Not required) One year as a nursing assistant or orderly in an acute hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Transport surgical patients to and from Perioperative Area.
• Assist nursing staff with moving and positioning patients within the Perioperative Area.
• Adhere to infection control policies and handwashing protocols.
• Adhere to handoff communication among caregivers.
• Maintain inventory of designated supplies and equipment at appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with licensed staff to enhance patient outcomes.
