Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Senior Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff by delivering direct patient care such as bathing, vital signs, and mobility assistance under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

This role also includes patient transport, meal service, greeting and orienting patients, and collaborating with the care team to ensure timely, compassionate care for our patients daily.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to collaborate in a team setting and communicate effectively.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making and vital signs.
• Transport patients and patient-related materials safely and promptly.
• Greet and orient patients to the patient care area.
• Provide meal service and feeding assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to perform other services as directed.
