Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Women and Children Services. You will plan, direct, and provide individualized patient care using the nursing process in a busy acute care setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring safety and quality for mothers and newborns. Minimum RN education required with California licensure; BLS and neonatal certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nursing Program.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work in a union environment.
• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Two years Nursery/NICU experience preferred.
• Valid California RN license.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• NRP certificate or equivalent.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Baby Assessment required within 6 months.
• LA County Fire Card required within 30 days.
• ARC certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and provide high quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the Director of Women and Children Services and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and exemplary care for mothers and infants.
