Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is looking for a dedicated nurse to join our Women and Children Services team in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for planning and providing high-quality, individualized patient care.

This role requires a valid California RN License and BLS certification, along with preferred experience in acute care and nursery/NICU settings. Shift hours can vary between 24 to 72 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Los Angeles County Fire Card required within 30 days of employment.
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) required within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Two years experience in a Nursery/NICU setting preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nursing Program
• Valid California State Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or American Heart Association (AHA)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Baby Assessment (required within 6 months of hire)
• Active Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of employment)
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of employment)

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute care setting
• Two (2) years experience in a Nursery/NICU setting

Additional Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work in a union environment.
