Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse to join the Level III/IV NICCU team. The role involves patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-level neonatal care.

The RN will work 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM), handling complex cases and following NICU protocols, including ECMO and advanced ventilatory support when needed. California RN license and CPR/BLS/PALS/NRP are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience as a Level III NICCU RN required.
• NICCU Level IV experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.
• BLS/PALS required.
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• The RN conducts patient assessments and participates in the development of the plan of care.
• Implements and evaluates care according to patient age/developmental needs.
• Collaborates with the health care team in the delivery of care.
• Follows policies for handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
