Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift to deliver direct patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit. The role is a 12-week assignment with compensation of $60.00 per hour (flat rate).

Required qualifications include an active RN license and BLS; ACLS certification is preferred and should be current. BSN is preferred. Ventilator management experience is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification preferred and current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and support patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and coordinate care on the Medical/Surgical unit.
