Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep for the Women’s Health Breast Center in Connecticut. You will greet patients, handle calls, schedule appointments, register patients, verify insurance, collect copays, pre-authorizations, referrals, and manage charts and faxes.

The role supports providers and staff, with day shifts and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients courteously in person or by phone.
• Answer and route calls using scripts.
• Schedule appointments according to department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
• Handle patient registration, insurance verification, copay and point of service collections, pre-certifications, prior authorizations, referrals, chart prep, and fax management.
