Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology or a chemistry/biology degree with certification.
• Certification (MLS or categorical) or completion/attestation from an accredited MLS program.
• Foreign credentials require evaluation (IERF) for eligibility review.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection, receipt, and processing of specimens.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA and department procedures.
• Perform duties according to established policies and professional standards.
