Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related MA training.
• MA/EMT/Paramedic credential options are acceptable.
• Maintains current MA recertification CEUs if credentialed.
• 2+ years clinical experience or 0-1 year with MA program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
