Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for a day shift in Oklahoma City. The role supports direct patient care, including vitals, history, venipuncture, labs, and referrals under the provider and clinical supervisor.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care and efficient workflow in a outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have MA certification/registration or MA experience, plus CPR/BLS within 90 days, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient messages as directed by the provider.
• Gather and document patient information including lab values, pain levels, education needs, and nutritional status.
• Monitor and document patient status; participate in plan of care.
• Assist in plan implementation and evaluation of interventions, including medication administration (non-narcotics).
• Manage high call volume with excellent telephone etiquette; organize workflow to meet patient needs.
