Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clinical practice experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at start.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred or required at start.

Responsibilities

• Check schedules and manage patient flow and vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Assist physicians and nurses with exams, injections, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Prepare patients for procedures and relay instructions to patients and families.
• Maintain medical records, order lab/x-ray reports, and manage clerical tasks.
• Ensure exam/procedure rooms and equipment are clean and ready; follow sterile techniques.
