United Direct Solutions in Louisville, KY is seeking a full-time Material Handler to support mail, printed materials and postal products movement. Work Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with a clean, climate-controlled facility and full benefits.

Salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 annually according to the job posting. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and prior warehouse or postal operations experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, material handling, manufacturing, or postal operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production and logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and shipping documentation.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and move materials, supplies, and finished mail products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and containers safely and efficiently.
• Stage materials for production and mailing operations according to schedules and priorities.
• Sort, organize, and distribute postal trays, tubs, sacks, and other mailing containers.
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Assist with preparing mail for shipment in accordance with USPS and company standards.
• Verify quantities, identify discrepancies, and report inventory or shipping issues.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, shipments, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and postal regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
