Job summary

Vigor Marine Group is seeking a Day Shift Production Manager to oversee marine maintenance and modernization operations at our Seattle facility. You will manage day-to-day production of craft workers, coordinate staffing, and collaborate with Project Managers to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; AA degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing/marine industries.
  • Experience documenting performance and handling HR processes (discipline, evaluations).
  • Strong scheduling, planning, budgeting and resource management skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, regulatory and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute daily production plans with craft supervisors.
  • Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost targets are met.
  • Coordinate resources and external labor when needed.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and correct issues.
  • Lead process improvements and CPI initiatives across departments.
