Custom Marine, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor on our 3rd Shift to lead production crews, ensure safe, efficient operation, and maintain daily reports. You will drive performance, coach hourly operators, and enforce safety standards in a fast-paced marine manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented, collaborative and flexible.
• Proven leadership of hourly operators.

Responsibilities

• First line of responsibility for production personnel; manage time and acts as contact for personnel issues.
• Ensure consistent shift-to-shift communication.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and ensure safety instructions are followed.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost, and delivery for the shift.
• Train new employees in position and safety standards.
• Manage cross-training across shifts.
• Lead regular team meetings including safety topics.
• Support Plant Manager with special projects.
• Complete daily reports and maintain logs.
• Record downtime, scrap, and measure team efficiency.
• Review production schedules and coordinate activities to meet specs.
• Handle time and attendance system duties.
• Direct supervision of production personnel and disciplinary actions.
• Troubleshoot machines and tooling issues.
• Lead with a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves style.
