Vigor Marine Group in Vancouver, WA, seeks a senior Unit Boss for a high‑visibility U.S. defense program.

You will own a vessel unit end‑to‑end, drive safety, quality, schedule and cost, and lead a multidisciplinary team across engineering, planning, production and test. Reporting to the MSV(L) Program Manager, you will shape execution plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver a complete, integration‑ready watercraft on time.

Competenze

• 10+ years in project, program, production or engineering management in shipbuilding or related defense/maritime sectors.
• Experience leading matrixed teams and integrating engineering, planning, production, quality and program control.
• Ability to develop credible schedules and forecasts with strong cost control.

Mansioni

• Own an integrated unit plan and deliver a complete, compliant, integration‑ready product.
• Translate requirements into executable plans with milestones, interfaces and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross‑functional cadence, priorities and closure of corrective actions.
• Coordinate interfaces with other Unit Bosses to protect overall performance.
