Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking qualified radiology staff for the mammography department in Orange City, Florida. This role performs high-quality mammography exams, adheres to MQSA and ACR guidelines, and collaborates with radiologists to ensure timely communication of results.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent is required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows.
• Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low and performs daily system quality control (QC) checks.
