Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging, patient positioning, and image optimization. You will coordinate with radiologists and staff, ensuring safety and comfort while maintaining documentation in the EMR.

The role requires 1+ year of Mammography experience, ARRT/MQSA knowledge, and strong teamwork. BLS certification and ability to read English are essential, with an emphasis on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in Mammography; breast imaging experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification as required (ARRT).
• Must read, write, speak and understand English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Coordinate with radiologists and breast imaging team for timely communication of results.
• Maintain proper room setup, sterility, and equipment safety checks.
• Perform sterotactic core biopsies and seed implants as trained.
• Assist with accreditation activities and quality improvement in the breast imaging program.
