Job summary

AdventHealth in Apopka, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography to support breast imaging services. You will follow MQSA/ACR guidelines, manage imaging quality, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure timely results.

Responsibilities include patient prep, imaging, documentation in EMR, and adherence to safety protocols. Requires 1+ year experience, BLS, and ARRT mammography/radiology credentials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography and Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
• Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety.
• Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and recalls and biopsy scheduling as required.
• Supports breast center initiatives and accreditation prep.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification and informed consent.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images and quality control checks.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and safe.
