Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker's STANLEY Engineered Fastening division is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) in Stanfield, NC. The role offers a pay rate of $29.28/hour and includes a broad mix of electrical, plumbing and general building repairs.

You will read blueprints, support safety initiatives, participate in 6S and SMED events, maintain FIFO inventory, and collaborate with machine operators and the supervisor to keep production lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Electrical Principles, Industrial Maintenance of PLCs, Maintaining Industrial Equipment, Fluid Power, and Fundamentals of Machine Tools (NOCTI tested).
• Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete a wide variety of work, electrical, plumbing, general building repairs, etc.
• Perform safe work practices.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Must be able to work overtime if needed.
• Support, communicate, and drive Safety.
• Identify safety hazards and collaborate/investigate with team to resolve.
• Participate and engage with 6S projects, 6S 360 and SMED events.
• Ensure FIFO in order to keep the department inventory to recommended levels.
• Collaborate with team, machine operators, and supervisor.
• Data Entry (Emaintenance System, etc)
