Job summary

StoneRidge Senior Living Community in Mystic, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Independent Living & Assisted Living. The role runs 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $22-$24 per hour based on experience.

The technician will perform routine maintenance, minor plumbing/electrical tasks, carpentry, and building upkeep under supervision. Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 80 pounds are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
• Experience or training in carpentry, construction, or trade-work preferred.
• English literacy to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor plumbing/electrical tasks.
• Repair and replace fixtures, paint and general residential repairs.
• Assist with snow removal and security coverage as needed.
• Operate low-speed vehicles for transport around campus.

Skills

Valid Driver License

English Proficiency

OSHA 10 Certification preferred

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Technical schooling in carpentry/construction
